What are you doing to prepare?

One thing that I've been thinking about recently is that preparation, in this case, requires some risk. Risk that an economic depression like that of the 1920s might not occur this time around and that all of the preparations might not be necessary, or end up being a waste.

For example, I'm building Us Enduring so that if a catastrophic economic depression happens, at least we'll have a platform and community that we can turn to for advice and encouragement. But, if it doesn't happen, all time spent on this could very well be wasted.

That would probably actually be a good thing though, right? For a depression to not happen and Us Enduring to eventually just be shut down?

But we can't know for sure, so that's why we should prepare to avoid being victims who can only react to the bad things that are happening to them.

I've written a few posts recently related to preparation, such as:

I plan to write more and link to them here, so stay tuned.

So, what about you? What are you doing to prepare?
